Excellence Recognized: Teakwood Global Honored as One of the Longhorn 100

Recognition matters most when it comes from people who understand the work.

Teakwood Global (formerly Seth & Associates) was recently named to the 2026 Longhorn 100, a prestigious annual award presented by Texas Exes, the alumni association of the University of Texas at Austin. It is a recognition that reflects the standard our team has upheld throughout our history and continues to build on today.

We are proud. And we don’t take it lightly.

A Legacy of Excellence, Now Under One Name

The transition from Seth & Associates to Teakwood Global was about unifying our brands under a structure built for the future. But the values that earned us this recognition ( technical excellence, client commitment, and professional integrity) haven’t changed. They were the foundation before, and they remain the foundation now.

We are a modern accounting firm serving small and mid-sized businesses, founder-led companies, and lower middle-market organizations navigating growth, complexity, and change. Our work spans Audit & Assurance, Tax, Advisory, and Client Accounting Services. Across all of it, we operate to a single standard: clear financial insight leads to stronger decisions.

The numbers that define that standard aren’t aspirational. They’re operational:

  • 98% on-time audit completion rate — because deadlines aren’t suggestions
  • Trusted by companies across industries — because trust is earned through consistent results and lasting partnerships
  • 85% improvement in internal control frameworks for our clients — because strong controls protect what our clients have built
  • 30%+ immediate efficiency gains in client accounting — because better processes produce better outcomes

What the Longhorn 100 Actually Means

The Longhorn 100 identifies and celebrates the success of the 100 fastest-growing Longhorn businesses in the world. To be considered, companies must clear a rigorous set of criteria: continuous business operations for five or more years, minimum revenues of $250,000 or more across each qualifying calendar year, and Longhorn-founded, Longhorn-owned, or Longhorn-led leadership throughout the program period.

The 100 companies are determined by percentage of compounded annual growth in sales or revenue from 2022 to 2024. In other words, this isn’t about who has the biggest marketing budget or the loudest brand.

Being named a Longhorn 100 Winner reflects measurable business expansion, leadership, and sustained operational performance. That framing matters to us. It’s the kind of recognition that means something precisely because it’s earned through numbers, not narratives.

What’s Next

The University of Texas community has always been part of who we are — and this recognition strengthens that connection.

But more than anything, this milestone is a marker, not a destination. The same drive that built Teakwood Global to this point is the drive that will take us further. More clients served. More capabilities delivered. More communities invested in.

To the Texas Exes and the Longhorn 100 selection committee, we want to thank you for this recognition. To our clients who trust us with their businesses every day, this belongs to you as much as it does to us. And to our team of 200+ professionals who show up and do the work at the highest level, this one’s yours.
