Teakwood Global recently opened its new Houston office, and to mark the occasion, we hosted a Meet & Greet for clients, partners, and members of the Houston business community. The room was full of energy, familiar faces, and new conversations. That combination, to us, is exactly the point.

Metro Houston’s GDP reached $758.3 billion in 2024, surpassing three-quarters of a trillion dollars in real terms for the first time on record. Houston is the second-fastest growing major economy in the nation, with a 10.6% real GDP growth rate from 2022 to 2024, nearly double the national average of 5.8%. The region also logged a record high of 683 new business announcements in 2025, representing a 26.5% increase over the previous year.
That kind of momentum doesn’t slow down on its own. It creates complexity that businesses need experienced partners to navigate. Professional and technical services are among the key contributors to Houston’s continued job growth, and the businesses driving that growth need accounting, advisory, and audit support that can keep pace.
