More Than a Scorecard: The Teakwood Global Golf Classic Raised Nearly $50K for Fort Bend Seniors

At Teakwood Global, we work with numbers every day, whether it’s audit completion rates, internal control benchmarks, or financial reporting accuracy. But last week, one number stood above the rest: nearly $50,000.

That is what our community came together to raise at the Teakwood Global Golf Classic in support of Fort Bend Seniors Meals on Wheels. It was made possible by the generosity of our clients, partners, sponsors, and everyone who chose to be part of the day.

A Firm Built on Long Term Relationships, On and Off the Course

Teakwood Global serves more than 2,700 clients across industries, from founder led businesses to private equity backed platforms. With more than 200 professionals operating across multiple delivery centers, our work is technical, structured, and disciplined.

But our commitment extends beyond the work we do. We believe in investing in the communities where our clients, colleagues, and partners live and work.

The Golf Classic brought together clients, partners, and friends for a day that balanced friendly competition with a shared purpose. Every sponsorship, auction bid, and round played contributed to supporting seniors throughout Fort Bend County through the important work of Fort Bend Seniors Meals on Wheels.

Why We Show Up

We believe strong businesses are built on strong communities. Fort Bend Seniors Meals on Wheels provides essential support that helps local seniors live with dignity and independence, and we are proud to support its mission.

The Golf Classic is one of the ways we put that belief into action. It is an opportunity to strengthen relationships, give back to the community, and create a meaningful impact together.

To everyone who played, sponsored, volunteered, bid, and supported this year’s event, thank you for helping make it such a memorable success. We look forward to seeing you on the course again next year.
